Teams

Switch your role on a team

Change whether you join a team as staff, parent, or player using Join team and the team invite code.

Steps

  1. Open Join team from the hub (the same entry point as when you first joined).
  2. Enter that team’s invite code from your coach or manager.
  3. Choose staff, parent, or player, and complete any extra prompts the app shows.

Footigan updates your role on that team’s roster based on what you select.

Staff and join requests

  • If you select staff and you are not already staff on the team, existing staff may need to approve you. Pending requests appear on the team Staff page for staff to review.
  • If you already have a pending staff request for that team, wait for staff to approve or reject it before you can successfully choose parent or player instead.

Parent or player

Choosing parent or player updates your membership directly when you are not blocked by a pending staff request (for example, if you were staff and want to participate as a parent or player).
