Club broadcasts

Target audiences, composing broadcasts, and how they differ from team alerts and club Messages.

What broadcasts are for

Broadcasts send an organization-level message to a chosen audience: entire club, selected teams, and/or role filters where supported.

Creating a broadcast

From the club area, open Broadcasts and compose a new item. Review the audience picker carefully before sending — large audiences generate many notifications.

Compared to team alerts

Team alerts are scoped to a single team’s roster. Broadcasts are club-scoped and may reach multiple teams at once.

Compared to club Messages

Club Messages (under the club dashboard) is for two-way threads that still belong to a specific linked team you pick when starting a conversation. Broadcasts are one-way club announcements with an audience picker—not a thread inbox. For how threads work, see Messages and alerts.

Permissions

Only users with the right club staff or admin role can publish broadcasts. If you cannot see the menu item, ask a club administrator.
