Team schedule
The Schedule view lists events and games. Staff create and edit items; families see what the team publishes.
Future kickoffs on the schedule
When staff create or edit a game or practice on the Schedule, the start date and time must be in the future. That keeps the calendar forward-looking. (You can still change other details on a past game—opponent, notes, etc.—without moving the kickoff to a new time.)
Games and results
Games include opponents, locations, and kickoff times. Results (scores and outcome) are optional; your staff decides whether the team tracks them in Footigan.
Saved opponents and locations
Staff can maintain saved opponents and saved locations under Team settings on the web (Opponents and Locations tabs). Those entries appear as choices when creating or editing games and events, so schedules stay consistent. See Team staff, settings, and profile.
Recording a result for a scheduled game
Staff open Results (team dashboard). After a game’s scheduled start time has passed, it appears in the list; open the row to enter scores, outcome, and optional notes.
Adding a result that was not on the schedule
Sometimes you need to log a match that was never added to the Schedule. Staff can use Add result (the + button on the Results page):
- Web: Results → + opens a drawer with the same style of fields as Create game (date, time, opponent, location, details, then result fields). The kickoff must be in the past.
- Mobile: Results → + in the header opens the same flow.
That creates a normal past game on the team calendar (visible when viewing past dates) with the result already saved.
Who can edit results
Only staff on the team can add or change results. Parents and players see results if your team publishes them.
Club schedule
Club staff can open an aggregated schedule across linked teams for a read-only operational picture.
Availability
Some teams collect availability for events. If enabled, respond from the event or drawer your team uses so coaches can plan.
